Caste Certificate Application

1. If the applicant is a first time user, he/she needs to click the Register Tab provided in top right corner in this page and then get registered with the necessary fields such as Full Name, Mobile No., Email id (which is not mandatory), State and Password.
2. Then the applicant needs to login with the credentials, by clicking the Login Tab.
3. After the applicant has logged on to the system, he/she needs to click the Apply Online tab and select the service they want to apply for and click the apply button after going through the Requirements tab.

Supporting Documents for Caste Certificate:

1. Proof of Identity of Applicant (Any one):

• Aadhaar Card
• Voter ID Card
• PAN Card
• Passport
• Driving License

2. Proof of Address of Applicant (Any one):

• Aadhaar Card
• Voter ID Card
• Passport
• Utility Bill (Electricity, Water, Gas - recent, not older than 3 months)
• Ration Card
• Bank Passbook with current address

3. Proof of Caste (Any one of the following of applicant or blood relative like father/grandfather):

• Copy of Caste Certificate of father or paternal blood relative.
• Extract of primary school admission register of applicant or parent mentioning caste.
• Extract of service record of parent/relative (if Government employee) mentioning caste.
• Old land records (Jamabandi/Patta) where caste is mentioned.
• An affidavit from the applicant declaring their caste, supported by community elders or local authorities (as per state norms).
• In some states, a report from the Village Officer/Patwari/Talathi.

4. Other Documents (As applicable):

• Passport Size Photograph of the applicant.
• Application form duly filled and signed.
• Genealogical tree (Vanshavali) showing relation to the person whose caste proof is submitted.
• Affidavit for caste certificate (if required by local authorities).
• School Leaving Certificate of the applicant.

Stipulated Timeline:

Approximately 15-30 working days. This can vary significantly depending on the state and district administration processes.

Fees:

• Application Fee: Generally nominal, ranging from ₹10 to ₹50. This may vary by state and whether applied through a CSC (Common Service Center) or directly.
