Documents Required for New Voter ID Registration (Form 6):
1. Passport Size Photograph:
- Recent, colour photograph with a plain light background.
2. Proof of Age (Any one):
- Birth Certificate issued by a competent local authority/municipal authority/Registrar of Births & Deaths.
- Class 10 or Class 12 Marksheet/Certificate (if it contains Date of Birth).
- Class 8 Marksheet (if it contains Date of Birth).
- Class 5 Marksheet (if it contains Date of Birth).
- Indian Passport.
- PAN Card.
- Driving License.
- Aadhaar Card issued by UIDAI.
3. Proof of Ordinary Residence (Any one):
- Current Bank / Kisan / Post Office current Passbook.
- Ration Card.
- Indian Passport.
- Driving License.
- Income Tax Assessment Order.
- Latest Rent Agreement.
- Latest Utility Bill (Water/Electricity/Gas connection) for that address, either in the name of the applicant or their immediate relation like parents etc. (not older than 3-6 months).
- Any post / letter / mail delivered through India Post in the applicant’s name at the given address.
- Aadhaar Card.
